Today I learned two new methods for casting on, although I still need much practice:
Yes, I am preparing to finally learn how to knit socks! Since I can’t seem to hold DPNs without them falling (just holding them properly is a huge issue, let alone with stitches on them), I’m going to try using circular needes, and preferably the toe-up, two-at-a-time technique. Hence the reason I’m learning different cast-ons. I’m increasing my knitting knowledge and becoming a more experienced knitter.
Look at these sock patterns I want to knit:
Snake River Socks (my spoilee for Secret Pal 10 made these and they look wonderful)
River Rapids (which look very similar to the Snake River socks)
Jaywalkers (because I see them everywhere on the net and they’ve grown on me!)
