Lion Brand Homespun makes soft knitted projects, but it’s not the easiest yarn to work with. I think this will probably be my last project with that particular yarn.
What one has, the other has to have too, so now my teen wants a hand-knit scarf. That is an easier yarn to work with, but I don’t think I like slubby (is that a word?) yarn that much.
The 3rd item I’m working on is a kitty pie for my sister’s cat, Sweet Pea, a.k.a. Funny Face. It’s a surprise, so don’t tell her. This was a challenge to start, but it didn’t take me long once I discovered magic loop circular knitting!
There are so many projects I want to do, I’ve scrapped the one rule I wanted to stick to, which was to work on only one project at a time and get it finished BEFORE I start a new project. I now have 3 projects on the needles, and one that is soon to be started when I get the yarn for it this weekend. Pictures will be posted soon! Check out the
